The perfect blend of sweet and spicy, this Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita adds a kick of heat in every sip, leaving you wanting more!

Pineapple Margarita with Jalapeños
Every Cinco de Mayo, my girlfriends gather at my house to make epic tequila cocktails! Fruity cocktails are expected, but you should have seen their faces when I said: Pineapple Jalapeño Margaritas for everyone!
Who would think of pairing tequila with jalapeños? Me! That's who! They were skeptical… until the very first sip! Totally a hit. I knew I had created an epic tropical cocktail, and I had to share it with you!
Ingredients
Tequila, lime juice, and Cointreau or Triple Sec are the base of any Margarita. What makes this cocktail so good is adding fresh pineapple juice and jalapeño rounds for that awesome kick of heat! Want to make your tastebuds dance a little more? Add Tajín to the rim!

How to Make a Spicy Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita
You'll find the detailed steps for making this cocktail in the recipe card below, but first, check these additional tips to ensure the best drink:
- Prep the glass
Tajín or salt, prep the glass first by rimming the sides so you can enjoy your Margarita right after making it. - Spice up your drink!
You'll want to give the jalapeño rounds a good smashing; you know it's ready to shake things up when you can smell the spicy aroma. - Make the cocktail
Add the other ingredients directly to the shaker and shake everything well. It's time to enjoy when the sides are nice and frosted! - Serve & Garnish
You'll want to give your shaken mixture a double strain to remove any jalapeño pieces; skip this step if you enjoy slices in your drink. Top with pineapple slices or jalapeño rounds for an added kick of heat. Enjoy!
How Spicy Is This Margarita
This Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita is mildly spicy; that being said, you can make this cocktail as spicy or as light as you wish by leaving or removing the jalapeño seeds before muddling it.
Easy Ways to Garnish This Drink
To elevate this drink, I like to skewer pineapple chunks on a cocktail pick for a fancy twist, adding lime wedges for added flavor, or by rimming the glass with Tajín seasoning for a touch of spice in every sip!
What To Serve with a Spicy Pineapple Margarita
If you want things to get spicy beyond your drink, serve this Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita with Spicy Chili Lime Salmon Tacos or these Sriracha Chicken Tacos. And hands down to the best side for these tacos: pineapple salsa!

These were really good. Just the right hint of spice. Made several and added more jalapeños for the people who wanted spicier. Thanks
