Whenever I'm craving a sweet drink with a kick of heat, a spicy mango Margarita is my go-to cockail.

Jalapeño Mango Margarita
Once the spring weather hits, I begin to crave fruity Margaritas! But when I'm in the mood for extra bold flavors, I like to amp it up with some delicious heat!
Inspired by my Spicy Margarita Recipe, I put a refreshing twist on the classic to make this spicy mango Margarita! Made with real juice and no fake syrups, it's light and full of flavor, with a hit of heat to keep you coming back for more.
Ingredients
Everything you need to make this spicy mango Margarita will be listed in the recipe card below, but before you make any swaps, see why each ingredient is needed:
- Jalapeño rounds: when muddled, these will add heat to this cocktail.
- Lime juice: freshly squeezed is always the best.
- Simple syrup: optional for a touch of added sweetness.
- Tequila: use your favorite brand of Blanco or Silver.
- Cointreau: or triple sec; this will help to balance the flavors of the drink.
- Mango juice: freshly squeezed or store-bought.
- Garnishes: Tajín (optional) for rimming, lime wedges, pineapple wedges, and additional jalapeño rounds.
How to Make a Spicy Mango Margarita
Grab your jalapeños, and let's get shakin'! Here is how to make the best spicy mango Margarita with some additional tips for the perfect sip:
- Prep the glass
If you enjoy a Tajín-coated rim, you'll want to prep your glass first so you can enjoy your drink right after making it. - Release the spice
In a cocktail shaker, add the jalapeño rounds, lime juice, and simple syrup (if using) and muddle it all together. You know it's ready when you start to smell the spice. Note: for added spice, keep the jalapeño seeds in! - Make the marg
Add the rest of the required ingredients to the cocktail shaker and shake until the sides of the glass are nice and frosted. - Serve & Garnish
Give your shaken mixture a good strain and pour it into your prepared glass. Top with fresh ice and garnish with pineapple or lime wedges and, for added spice, jalapeño rounds. Enjoy!

How to Garnish
This spicy mango Margarita is best served with a Tajín-coated rim and garnished with pineapple or lime wedges with additional jalapeño rounds! Other fun garnish ideas include a sugared rim for a touch of sweetness, dehydrated orange slices for a pop of citrus, or pineapple wedges skewered on a cocktail pick!

- 1 ½ ounces tequila
- 1 ½ ounces Cointreau or triple sec*
