Savor the delicious flavors of this Skinny Spicy Margarita that's half the calories and just as tasty as the original!

Spicy Skinny Margarita Recipe
My girlfriends and I like to pre-plan our margaritas and tacos when we get together for happy hour. Every time someone brings up a spicy cocktail, this Spicy Skinny Margarita recipe is the first to be suggested. It has only 107 calories vs. 275 in a classic spicy margarita.
During the summer, it's a toss-up between this one and my skinny margarita. In the end, they're all refreshing and have half the calories. It's a win-win!
Ingredients
To make this skinny margarita spicy, you'll need a few jalapeño rounds. Then, you'll use freshly squeezed lime juice, a calorie-free granulated sweetener (such as stevia, Truvia, Monk fruit, or Erythritol), tequila, and orange juice (it's worth squeezing, but store-bought works too!).
How to Make a Spicy Skinny Margarita
- Rim the glass with salt or Tajin if that's your jam.
- Muddle the jalapeño with lime juice and the zero-calorie sweetener, including the jalapeño seeds if you want extra heat.
- Add tequila, orange juice, and ice, and shake until the sides are fully frosted.
- Serve with lime wedges and fresh jalapeños to keep the heat going; enjoy!

Spicy Skinny Margarita (So Good!)

Ingredients
- 2 jalapeño rounds, more for garnish
- 1 ounce lime juice, about 1 lime
- 2 teaspoons calorie-free sweetener
- 1 ounce tequila
- 1 ounce orange juice
- Salt or Tajin, optional for rimming
- Lime wedge, for garnish
Instructions
Prep:
- If you enjoy a salted glass, prep the rim of your glass by rubbing a lime wedge along the rim. Dip in tequila salt or Tajin, and set aside.
Make the marg:
- Add the jalapeño rounds (slices) with or without the seeds (the seeds add heat) inside a cocktail shaker. Add the lime juice and granulated zero-calorie sweetener and using a muddler, press down to release the jalapeño juices. When you smell the spicy aroma, it's ready to shake.
- Add the tequila, orange juice, and a handful of ice cubes. Shake well until the sides are fully frosted.
Serve:
- Fill the prepared glass with fresh ice. Strain the cocktail through the strainer and pour it into the prepared glass. Garnish with a wedge of lime and additional jalapeño slices.
