Use Stevia or your favorite sugar-free syrup to shake up a delicious and refreshing sugar free Margarita real quick!

Zero Sugar Margarita
While mixing up my Low-Calorie Margarita for happy hour, my friend Anne asked if I had any Stevia or sugar-free syrup to add to hers. After a few shakes, everyone voted unanimously that this zero-sugar Margarita was a hit!
While the Skinny Margarita is lower in alcohol and uses orange juice, this sugar-free margarita keeps all the alcohol from the Classic Margarita recipe but swaps the simple syrup for a zero-sugar one.
Ingredients
You'll need tequila, triple sec or Cointreau, lime juice (freshly squeezed is always best!), and a sugar-free cocktail syrup like this one: since it's already dissolved, it works best instead of using a keto agave or honey, which tends to be thicker and won't mix up as well.
How to Make a Sugar Free Margarita
- Prep the glass with salt or a granulated zero-calorie sweetener.
- Fill the cocktail shaker with all the ingredients and give them a good shake until the sides are nice and frosted.
- Pour and garnish with a lime wedge for extra flavor, or squeeze it directly into the glass. Enjoy!

This is not a sugar free recipe. Cointreau Has almost twice the sugar content of a can of Coke per fluid ounce. Don’t believe me? Check it out on Google.

Sugar-free means no added sugar as in simple syrup. It's not alcohol free and yes, alcohols has sugar. I think you might be looking for a skinny margarita, which is without cointreau.

Cointreau or Triple Sec are not sugar-free. How do you represent this drink as sugar-free?
