If you enjoy sweet and vibrant cocktails, this Orange Margarita will be a winner at your next weekend event!

Orange Juice Margarita
Sunday brunch with my girlfriends is never complete without a simple tequila and orange juice drink -like a screwdriver but with tequila. When we go fancy with the menu, we up our game and make this Orange Margarita, which is definitely an upgrade.
It's light, citrusy, and incredibly refreshing, just like enjoying a glass of fresh orange juice but with a kick. Watching your calories? Get the recipe for my Skinny Orange Margarita here.
Ingredients
Like a classic Margarita, this cocktail includes Blanco or Silver tequila, lime juice, and Cointreau or triple sec. For the fun citric twist, you'll add freshly squeezed orange juice that's been strained, meaning that it's pulp-free. Juice with pulp will give the Margarita more texture, but use the one you have on hand and prefer.
Take things to the next level by making it a Spicy Orange Margarita, using this recipe!
How to Make an Orange Margarita
You are ready to sip, and your cocktail shaker is ready to work! Grab the ingredients, and let's make this epic drink!
- Prep the glass
If you enjoy a salted glass, prep your glass first so you can enjoy your drink right after making it. - Make the cocktail
You'll want to give this cocktail a good shake, you know it is ready when the sides are nice and frosted. - Pour & Garnish
Add fresh ice to the prepared glass; this will help ensure an even pour, garnish, and get to sipping friends!

What to Serve with an Orange Margarita
I love garnishing this cocktail with fresh cara cara oranges and making it a complete feast by serving portobello mushroom tacos with orange glaze or these quick rotisserie chicken tacos. Woohoo!
