I love finding quick and easy ways to elevate my holiday gatherings, so I put my old bartending skills to use and created this Christmas cocktail that any host can whip up without any added stress. Nothing beats a festive tequila cocktail made with minimal ingredients and little prep that packs a flavorful punch!

Ingredients

This holiday cocktail is made with tequila, cranberry juice (not bottled concentrate), and sparkling water (or Topo Chico) for a fizzy finishing touch. You can optionally garnish the glasses with salt in the rim, thyme, and pomegranate seeds.

How to Make a Tequila Christmas Cocktail

Prep the glass first if you enjoy a salted rim.
Combine tequila and cranberry juice in a tall glass filled with ice.
Top with your fizzy finish and garnish with thyme and pomegranate seeds. Enjoy!

Ingredients

2 ounces tequila
4 ounces cranberry juice
4 ounces Topo Chico or sparkling water
Salt, thyme, and pomegranate seeds, optional, for garnish

Instructions

Prep:

If you enjoy a salted glass, prep the rim of your glass by rubbing a lime wedge along the rim. Dip in tequila salt, and set aside.

Make the cocktail:

Fill a tall glass with ice. Add tequila and cranberry juice and with a spoon, stir to combine.
Pour the Topo Chico or sparkling water on top.
Garnish with a thyme sprig and pomegranate seeds, enjoy!
