These fun Christmas tequila shots are easy to make and easier to chug!
Christmas Shots
While I usually am known to mix up a batch of this fizzy Christmas cocktail or a delightful Christmas Punch, this year, I'm adding a merry twist to the festivities with these Christmas shots! Super simple to shake up, and tastes even better when enjoying with company.
Ingredients
To make these shots, you only need tequila and cranberry juice (be sure to use juice and not bottled concentrate). If it's your jam, you can garnish the rim with sugar.
How to Make Christmas Shots with Tequila
- Rim the glasses so you can enjoy your shots right after shaking them up!
- Make this drink by shaking all the ingredients with ice until the sides are nice and frosted.
- Pour the shaken mixture into your prepared shot glasses. Serve, sip, and enjoy!

Ingredients
- 4 ounces tequila
- 2 ounces cranberry juice
- Sugar, for rimming
Instructions
Prep:
- Rub a lime wedge along the rim of your shot glasses. Place sugar on a plate or salt rimmer and dip the shot glasses in the sugar to rim the glass. Line them up.
Shake things up:
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the tequila and the cranberry juice. Shake it vigorously until the sides are fully frosted.
Serve:
- Strain the mixture into the 4 shot glasses, holding back the ice. One, two, three, chug and repeat!
