No need to wait for snow; this White Margarita brings plenty of festive cheer! It's mild and has a boozy coconut flavor that goes down easy!

What is a White Margarita?
A White Margarita transforms the Classic Margarita recipe into a white, coconut-flavored drink. Last year, my mother decorated everything in white, red, and gold, so this festive tequila cocktail was perfect for the decor!
Ingredients
You'll need tequila, Cointreau or Grand Marnier (which has a sweeter flavor profile), lime juice (fresh is best), coconut water to make a taller cocktail, and regular canned coconut milk. You can also add simple syrup for a touch of sweetness, and optionally garnish the rim with cinnamon sugar, cinnamon sticks, cranberries, and rosemary sprigs.
How to Make a White Margarita
- Rim the glasses with cinnamon sugar if that's your jam.
- Combine the ingredients in the pitcher or in the shaker (for a single serve).
- Chill until ready to serve in the decorated glasses.

White Margarita (Pitcher Sized)

Ingredients
- 10 ounces Blanco or Silver tequila, 1 cup + 2 tablespoons
- 8 ounces Grand Marnier or Cointreau, 1 cup
- 1 cup lime juice, about 8-10 limes
- ¾ cup simple syrup
- 14 ounce can coconut milk, shaken
- 1 cup coconut water
- Cinnamon sticks, for garnish
- Rosemary, for garnish and optional
Instructions
Fill the pitcher:
- Pour the tequila, Grand Marnier or Cointreau, lime juice, simple syrup, canned coconut milk, and coconut water into a pitcher. Add a handful of ice cubes, stir with a spoon, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Serve & Garnish:
- Before serving, stir well. Fill each glass with ice cubes and fill with the white margarita mixture.
- Garnish with cinnamon sticks, cranberries, and rosemary if using.
Notes
- Make this a single cocktail with 1 ½ ounces tequila, 1 ounce Cointreau or triple sec, 1 ¼ ounces lime juice, 1 ounce simple syrup, 2 ounces coconut milk, and 1 ounce coconut water. Mix everything in a shaker, pour over ice, and garnish.
- Make sure to use regular canned coconut milk, not the one in the dairy/refrigerated section.
