With a can of frozen limeade concentrate, tequila, and ice, this frozen lime margarita skips the fuss but keeps all the flavor. It's bold, bright, and blends up in seconds.

Frozen Limeade Margarita
This frozen lime margarita came to life on one of those nights when I wanted a marg but absolutely did not want to juice a single lime. I had a can of limeade concentrate in the freezer and figured… why not?
A quick blend later-with tequila, triple sec, and ice-and I had the tart, slushy margarita of my dreams. It's the shortcut version of my go-to classic frozen margarita but honestly? No one's ever complained.
Ingredients
Just like my frozen lemonade marg, this cocktail has a short ingredient list with a big frozen payoff. You can find exact amounts in the recipe card below.
- Tequila: use your favorite brand of Blanco or Silver.
- Triple Sec or Cointreau: a staple liquor in Margarita recipes that gives a citrus kiss. Learn more about the differences between cointreau and triple sec here.
- Frozen Limeade Concentrate: this genius little hack delivers all the zesty lime flavor, without having to squeeze a thing. No sticky hands here.
- Ice: crushed, to help balance the concentrate and give a perfect slushy texture.
- Garnish: a salted rim and lime wedge.
How to Make a Frozen Lime Margarita
Ever since I first tried this shortcut marg, I keep coming back to it when I want a fast summer cocktail that tastes like it took way more effort. Grab your blender!
- Prep the Glasses
If you like a salt rim, go ahead and rub a lime wedge around the rim, dip it in salt and set it aside. - Blend
Pop the top on your limeade and toss it into the blender with the other ingredients. Blend on high until you've got a smooth, slushy consistency. - Serve
Grab some glasses and pour! If you have extra you can store the rest in the freezer to enjoy later or use an insulated pitcher to keep those refills close-by.
Garnishing Your Blended Margarita
Rim the glass with salt (or sugar) and garnish with a lime wedge. Personally, I like adding some heat to this cocktail with a chili-salt rim and a slice of fresh jalapeño.
Other Frozen Margaritas
Since you've got the blender out, grab those almost-too-soft berries and blend up a frozen blueberry or frozen strawberry marg. That last bit of grapefruit juice? It's begging to be a frozen Paloma! Or feel fancy pants with a frozen lychee margarita.
