Easy Margarita for Valentine's Day
Last year, I debuted my Frozen Valentine's Day Margarita, and it was a hit! We even made it a few other times throughout the year, because we enjoyed it so much.
This year, I wanted to try something new and different again, so I took inspiration from my Classic Margarita Recipe and shot it with a cupid's bow to make this Valentine's Day Margarita! Whether you plan to spend the day with a loved one, your closest gals, or yourself, you have the perfect excuse to sip on something delicious!
What Makes this Margarita Red?
The festive red hue in this Margarita is thanks to one of my favorite happy hour essentials: grenadine syrup! This will add a deliciously sweet and fruity flavor to the mix while providing a beautiful, vibrant color.

Everything you need to make this Valentine's Day Margarita will be listed in the recipe card below, but before you make any swaps, here is why each ingredient is needed:
- Tequila: use your favorite brand of Blanco or Silver.

- Lime juice: freshly squeezed is always the best.
- Grenadine syrup: for sweetness and creates the festive hue in this cocktail.
- Garnishes: salt or sugar (optional) for rimming and a sprig of mint.
