Frozen Cocktail for Valentine's Day

Everyone knows I'm not a decorator- that's just one gene I wasn't gifted with, but when it comes to holiday tequila cocktails, I let the ingredients do the heavy lifting.

Like this Frozen Valentine's Day Margarita Recipe, where the raspberries not only bring on the delicious flavor but provide a festive hue to the mix! So, grab your loved ones, and let's cheers to spending time with the ones who mean the most.

What You Need

Everything you need to make this frozen Margarita will be listed in the recipe card below, but before you make any swaps, here is why each ingredient is needed:

  • Tequila: use your favorite brand of Blanco or Silver.
  • Triple sec: or Cointreau, a staple ingredient found in the best Margarita recipes.
  • Lime juice: freshly squeezed is always the best!
  • Simple syrup: or honey. Optional for added sweetness.
  • Raspberries: fresh or frozen, either will work fine. If you're using fresh, be sure to read the note in the recipe card on how to get the same frozen texture.

How to Make a Frozen Valentine's Day Margarita

The detailed steps for making this festive Margarita are written in detail in the recipe card; here are some additional tips in each step to ensure the best sip:

  1. Blend it Up
You'll want to add the liquid ingredients in the blender first before adding the frozen raspberries, this will ensure a smooth blend. Blend on high until well mixed.
  2. Serve
Grab your glasses and pour! Tip: if you have extra and want to save it to enjoy later, store the remaining in the freezer to keep it nice and chilly!
