This tequila lemonade is bright, boozy, and dangerously easy to pour. Wait for it...

This boozy combo is the ultimate lazy-day refreshing cocktail. One sip of the tequila and lemonade, and you'll be hooked!

Lemonade and Tequila Cocktail

When it's too-hot to-function outside in the summer here in New Orleans, this tequila lemonade is a boozy and effortless drink that always hits the spot.

Two sips in... and you'll be obsessed. It's crisp, refreshing, and hits just right when you don't feel like mixing and measuring. Use your favorite store-bought, homemade, or give the kids down the street a few bucks for their effort setting up the stand, they're feeling the heat too.

What is in Tequila Lemonade

I love cocktails that are made with exactly what's in the name, and for this one, you'll need your favorite tequila and fresh or store-bought lemonade. Lots of ice is a must, and lemon slices are always a nice touch.

How to Make Tequila Lemonade

This simple cocktail is stirred, not shaken, so all you need to do is fill your glass with ice, add a few lemon slices inside, then pour in the tequila and lemonade, and it's ready to go. As the lemonade fills the glass, the two ingredients will mix. Of course, you can also stir it with a long spoon.

Expecting company? Make a pitcher of tequila and lemonade and keep it in the fridge until it's time to serve and sip!

How to Serve Tequila Lemonade

Chilled, always chilled. Tall glass, short glass, or an insulated tumbler if you're outside, with plenty of sliced lemons for some extra vitamin C. And if hunger strikes, you can always whip up some easy ground beef tacos in no time.

Variations

You're going to be obsessed with this combo (I am!). You'll also want to try mixing tequila and pink lemonade, a lavender lemonade cocktail that feels fancy, but it's a breeze to make. Better yet, pull out the blender and turn it into a frozen boozy lemonade!

I know it's not a margarita, but adding the juice from half a lime to this was really what I felt it needed.

Sounds like a tasty addition! I'll have to try it sometime for a half lemonade, half limeade combo!
