Lavender Cocktail with Lemonade

When the flowers start to bloom and the sun is shining, there is no better way to enjoy it than by sipping on a light and floral tequila cocktail.

This season, I'm combining two of my favorites, a lavender margarita and my tequila and lemonade recipe, to make this ultra-refreshing lavender lemonade cocktail. This recipe takes a classic springtime drink, like lemonade, and gives it a fancy and flavorful twist with lavender simple syrup for an epic sip!

What Alcohol Goes Well with Lavender 

Lavender pairs well with many different alcohols. From my favorite, tequila, to champagne and even vodka, lavender's distinct flavor profile mixes well with just about anything!

Ingredients

With just 3 simple ingredients, you'll be enjoying a sip of this lavender lemonade cocktail in no time! Here is what you'll need to get started:

• Tequila: use your favorite brand of Blanco or Silver.
• Lavender simple syrup: adds sweetness and a delightful floral flavor to the mix.
• Lemonade: freshly squeezed or store-bought, either will do.
• Garnishes: lemon slices and edible flowers for a fancy finishing touch!

1. Make the cocktail
   In a tall glass filled with ice, combine all the required ingredients. Be sure to give everything a good stir with a cocktail spoon.
2. Serve & Garnish
   To the glass, add in lemon slices, and top with your favorite combination of edible flowers for the ultimate finishing touch. Enjoy!

This lavender lemonade cocktail combines the perfect amount of citrus and floral flavors for a refreshing spring sip!

Ingredients

• 2 ounces tequila
• ½ ounce lavender simple syrup
• 6 ounces lemonade, ¾ cup
• Garnishes: lemon slice, edible flowers

Instructions

• Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour the tequila, lavender simple syrup, and lemonade into the glass, stir with a spoon to combine.
• Squeeze a lemon wedge into the drink and garnish with another wedge and edible flower. Enjoy!

Notes

Make a pitcher that serves 8 by combining 2 cups of tequila, 6 cups of lemonade (48 oz), and ¼ cup of lavender simple syrup. Measure and pour all required ingredients into a large pitcher, and stir well to combine. Add lemon slices and edible flowers to the pitcher and refrigerate for one hour before serving to guests.
