This boozy frozen lemonade is tart, frosty, and dangerously easy—summer in a blender, straight from the freezer aisle.

With frozen lemonade concentrate, ice, and your favorite liquor (aka tequila!), this boozy frozen lemonade is citrusy, cold, and ridiculously refreshing. It's a no-fuss, high-reward kind of cocktail.

Frozen Tequila Lemonade

I first made this boozy frozen lemonade on a sweltering summer day here in New Orleans when the A/C was losing the battle and all I had energy for was something cold, fast, and fun.

I had decided to make a frozen lime margarita, but all I could find was a can of frozen lemonade concentrate leftover from my kid's party. Disappointed? Heck no! This is the easiest thing ever-and the kind of drink that instantly improves your mood, your playlist, and your patio situation.

Ingredients

This cocktail only takes a few ingredients. It's as simple as my tequila lemonade, and just as impressive as a fancy frozen strawberry marg by the pool. Exact amounts are in the recipe card below.

  • Tequila: Blanco or Silver, whichever you most enjoy sipping.
  • Frozen Lemonade Concentrate: that little can from the freezer aisle? Yep, that's the one. It's tart, sweet, and does most of the work. And I'm all for working less!
  • Ice: to mellow out the concentrate and turn your cocktail into a frosty, sippable slush without tasting too syrupy.
  • Garnish: A lemon wedge, a salted rim, or nothing at all if you're not feeling it. I'm not judging.

Making Boozy Frozen Lemonade

Grab a blender and get ready to whip up the easiest, most legendary frozen tequila lemonade you'll ever make!

  1. Blend
Add all of your ingredients to the blender and blend on high until everything is perfectly smooth and mixed well.
  2. Serve
Grab some glasses and pour! If you have extra and want to save it for later, store the remaining in the freezer to enjoy later or use an insulated pitcher to keep those refills close-by.

Fun Ways to Garnish

Here's where you can really turn this tequila cocktail into something that screams summer vacation. A lemon wedge and sprig of mint will always look chic, but for extra fun, I love a cute cocktail pick to skewer whatever berries I've got or even some of my kid's gummy candy.

Other Frozen Cocktails to Try

Once you fall in love with this easy drink, you just might want to blend up all the things! Add a frozen spicy margarita, a vibrant icy blueberry marg, a juicy frozen watermelon margarita or slushy skinny marg to your next patio lounge session.
