Whether you're hosting or want to bring a pitcher of fun to a party, this Halloween Margarita recipe guarantees good times to come.

Fun Halloween Margarita
It all started when I made a simple Halloween cocktail with tequila one year, and everyone kept asking for refills. Naturally, things are always more fun pitcher-sized, so I turned it into a "Hallow-Rita," aka a Halloween margarita, and it's been my go-to ever since.
This is one of my favorites from a few Halloween margaritas I've got here, and it's every bit as festive as my spooky blackberry margarita, but easy to batch make. Add it to your party menu because good times await.
What Makes This Cocktail Purple?
Blue Curacao gives the drink a blue tint, and a few drops of food coloring transform it into that deep purple hue.
Ingredients
Combine tequila with fresh lime juice and Blue Curaçao (or triple sec if you don't have any), which adds citrus flavor and a blue hue as the base for this Halloween margarita. Then add lemonade (homemade or store-bought) for a touch of sweetness and to stretch the drink. Finish with a few drops of purple food coloring to give this drink its signature color.
How to Make a Halloween Themed Margarita
No punch bowl needed for this grown-up party drink! Grab a pitcher and keep the refills flowing.
- Combine all the ingredients in a pitcher.
- Chill it for at least one hour, up to 3 days ahead.
- Serve it in sugared rimmed glasses, which you can prep in advance, with fresh ice.

- Prep the rim of your glass by rubbing a lime wedge along the rim. Dip in sanding sugar or tequila salt, and set aside.
Serve & Enjoy:
