Cozy and simply irresistible, this fall Margarita will leave you craving its delicious taste all year long!

Best Margarita for Fall
Fall is my favorite season for perfect weather and getting creative with festive tequila cocktails. Whether it's apples, cinnamon, maple syrup, you name it, these flavor combinations are always a hit and blend perfectly together.
This weekend, while hosting family at my house, I decided to mix up some Margaritas that packed all the fall flavors we love into one epic cocktail. I grabbed the apple cider, maple syrup, and cinnamon and shook everything up to create this delicious fall Margarita. One sip, and you'll be hooked!
Ingredients
Everything you need to make this festive fall Margarita can be found in the recipe card below, but before you make any swaps, here is why each ingredient is used:
- Tequila: use your favorite brand of Blanco or Silver.
- Cointreau: or triple sec, adds a citrusy flavor to the mix and is essential in all great Margarita recipes.
- Apple Cider: I like using organic apple juice for its rich flavor; you can also swap it for apple juice.
- Maple syrup: or simple syrup (optional) for an added touch of sweetness.
- Garnishes: brown sugar or turbinado (optional) for rimming, cinnamon sticks, thin apple slices, and a pinch of cinnamon on top for added flavor.
How to Make a Fall Margarita
Get ready to savor every flavorful sip of this fall Margarita! Here is how to make this festive cocktail, with some additional tips in each step to ensure the best sip:
- Prep the glass
Whether you are using brown or turbinado sugar, you'll want to start by prepping your glass so you can enjoy your drink right after making it. - Make the cocktail
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine all required ingredients. You know it is ready to enjoy when the sides of the glass are fully frosted. - Serve & Garnish
You'll want to give your shaken mixture a good strain before pouring it into your prepared glass with fresh ice. Garnish with cinnamon sticks, apple slices, and a pinch of cinnamon directly on top for the perfect finishing touch. Enjoy!

Fall Garnishes for Margaritas
Adding a festive garnish is one of the easiest ways to elevate any cocktail! Some fun ideas include cinnamon sticks, apple slices, fruit peel twists, rosemary sprigs, or dried orange slices for a fun touch to your drink.
