Fall Cocktail with Tequila

Fall is my favorite season for getting creative with tequila cocktails. From apple, cinnamon, and maple, the possibilities are endless. But you don't always need a lengthy list of ingredients to make an epic happy hour impact!

After a day of shopping with friends, I decided to mix up something quick for us to sip on. I looked in my fridge to find the perfect ingredients to make Apple Juice & Tequila cocktails, but this time, with a bubbly twist. I mixed it up, we sipped, and were instantly refreshed, inspiring me to share this Fall Tequila Cocktail recipe!

Ingredients

I love cocktails that have simple ingredients, like this fall tequila cocktail! Before you make any swaps, here is why each ingredient is used:

  • Tequila: use your favorite brand of Blanco or Silver.
  • Apple juice: freshly squeezed or store-bought.
  • Sparkling water: or Topo Chico to add height to your cocktail and give it a light fizz.
  • Garnishes: apple slices and thyme are the perfect finishing touch.

How to Make a Fall Tequila Cocktail

Grab a tall glass, and let's get mixing. Here is how to make this festive fall tequila cocktail and some additional steps in each to ensure the best sip:

  1. Make the cocktail
To a tall glass filled with ice, add in the tequila and apple juice, making sure to leave out the sparkling water. Give the ingredients a good stir with a long spoon.
  2. Serve & Garnish
To make your sips a little longer, top off the glass with the fizzy finish. Garnish with apple slices and thyme for a festive touch. Enjoy!

Fall Cocktail Garnishes

I can't serve drinks without adding a touch of festive garnish. Some fun garnish ideas for your fall cocktails include dried orange slices, cinnamon sticks, star anise, thyme, and rosemary sprigs!

How to Serve this Fall Cocktail

This fall cocktail with tequila is best served in a highball glass over ice to keep things nice and chilled. For an added touch of flare, garnish with apple slices and thyme for festive flavors in every refreshing sip!
