Made with frozen peach slices (yes, the smoothie kind), tequila, and a splash of citrus, this frozen peach margarita is icy, fruity, and comes together in minutes. It's like sunshine in a glass… but with tequila.

Frozen Margarita with Peaches
The first time I made a frozen peach margarita, it was a total "use what you've got" moment. I had a bag of frozen peaches in the freezer for smoothies, no plans, and a strong craving for something cold and boozy.
I tossed them in the blender with tequila, lime, a little triple sec, and ice-and just like that, magic. It's thick, peachy, and ridiculously good. If you've already tried and loved my traditional peach margarita, buckle up because this one takes it to another level!
Ingredients
Everything you need to make a frozen margarita is in the recipe card below, but here are the basics of what you'll need and why I'm using them:
- Tequila: use your favorite brand of Blanco or Silver.
- Cointreau or Triple Sec: you can use either. If you like it a bit more tart, go for Cointreau. If you want it sweeter, reach for the triple sec.
- Lime juice: freshly squeezed!
- Simple syrup: optional for extra sweetness if your peaches aren't perfectly ripe.
- Peach slices: you're going to want to go with frozen to get that extra thick, slushy texture.
- Garnish: Peach slices, mint, or a lime wedge for color and extra flavor.
Can you use fresh peaches?
Fresh peaches work too if you've got them, but the frozen ones make this margarita extra frosty and easy to love.
How to Make Frozen Peach Margaritas
Grab a blender and get ready to mix up summer in a glass! Here's how to make the best frozen peach margarita, plus a few tips to ensure the best drink:
- Prep the glasses
If you're doing a salt or sugar rim, go ahead and prep the glasses first so you can pour the margarita right after blending. - Blend
Blend all of your ingredients on high until you hit that perfect thick, icy consistency. If it turns out too thick, add a splash more tequila or lime juice. An insulated pitcher is a great way to keep frozen cocktails frosty longer! - Pour & Garnish
Pour your peach margarita into a glass, garnish with a peach slice or two, a sprig of mint, or a lime wedge, and get sipping!
Making Just One
Need a single serve? Here's what you'll need: 1 ½ ounces of tequila, 1 ounce of triple sec, ½ ounce of lime juice, ½ ounce of simple syrup, 1 cup of frozen peaches, and a handful of ice. Same steps as above. Blend it up, pour, and enjoy!
Fun Ways to Garnish Frozen Margs
It's almost too easy to dress up a frozen margarita with sliced fruit, mint leaves, a skewer of fresh berries, or a tiny umbrella. Once, I popped an entire popsicle in the glass. Bonus: it stayed icy longer + extra treat!
What to Serve With It
If you're serving a crowd, pair this peach margarita alongside grilled fish tacos or pork carnitas tostadas and a bowl of fresh pineapple salsa with your favorite chips for the full summer experience! Need a second drink to round out your evening? Try my Frozen Berry Margarita next!
