This Casamigos Margarita combines the perfect amount of citusy and sweet flavors for the happy hour sip!

Casamigos tequila

Cointreau or triple sec*
1 ¼
ounces
lime juice

about 1 lime

ounce
Simple syrup

Salt for the rim

Lime wedge

for garnish
Instructions
Prep:
If you enjoy a salted glass, prep the rim of your glass by rubbing a lime wedge along the rim. Dip in tequila salt, and set aside.
Make the marg:
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add Casamigos tequila, lime juice, simple syrup (if using) and Cointreau. Shake until the sides are fully frosted.
Serve:
Add fresh ice into the prepared glass and strain the margarita into the glass. You can also use the ice from the shaker, this is up to you.
Garnish with a wedge of lime.
