This pitcher margarita is the best way to serve margaritas for a crowd. No shaking, no math, just measure, mix, and party.
Uno, dos, tres...tequila!

tequila

silver or reposado
1 ½
cups
Cointreau or triple sec
1 ¼
cups
lime juice

6-8 limes

cup
simple syrup
Salt for the rim

Lime sliced into wedges

Instructions
Fill the pitcher:
Measure and pour the tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, and simple syrup into a pitcher. Add a small handful of ice and mix to come. Refrigerate.
Serve:
For salted glasses, prepare them by rubbing a lime wedge along the rim. Dip each glass in tequila salt and fill with fresh ice.
Give the margarita inside the pitcher a stir and pour over the prepared glasses. Garnish with a wedge of lime.
